Net Impact sits at the intersection of
Sustainability, Social Responsibility, and the Modern Workplace
What Exactly Does That Mean?
Sustainability is the simultaneous pursuit of human health and happiness, environmental quality and economic well-being for current and future generations.
Social Responsibility is the ethical commitment a business has to balancing profit-making activities with activities that benefit all members of society.
We strive to make a difference on campus by engaging in different projects, trips and activities that promote sustainability in our everyday lives. The world around us is constantly evolving, and we strive to learn about how those in the corporate world are taking initiative for a better future, and work to incorporate these ideas into our everyday lives.
... As Professionals
We develop our professional skills through the work that we do as an organization. We synthesize work done by majors both in and outside the scope of the Smeal College of Business. No matter your career goals, Net Impact allows everyone a taste of many different fields and the opportunities for sustainability within each.
